What a Week Already!

I’ve had such a crazy week already! I just recently found out that I’m only missing one class to become certified to teach “Students with Disabilities”. The ironic thing is I wanted to get a Dual Certification while attending St. Bonaventure, however, I was never informed that I lacked one class from completing my goal. While I was there I took all of the requirements along with my regular ed classes and core curriculum (religion classes). The way it was explained to me, I had so many of the religion classes to make up when I transferred that it wouldn’t have happened. If I’d a only known – I would’ve taken the class the summer I graduated!
Instead, I spent the entire day yesterday trying to find a way to take this last class to complete my “Students with Disabilities” Program. All I can say, is the Canisius faculty was very helpful in trying to help me find the class and a way for me to take and complete my course. The hard part is that the class isn’t offered online at this time and I’m an online student (due to the long distance traveling I’d have to endure and the fact that I have 2 small children 
). I’m very thankful for everyone who played a part in helping me with this. The people I talked with at Bona’s were a lot less helpful – but I won’t go there .
On a positive note: my daughter is getting braver and braver at trying to walk on her own and to catch up with her brother! My son has found his new favorite ice cream “Peanut Butter Passion” from the Tim Horton’s we live near – yummy!
