This is the season of many last. Tis the season to be happy and shed tears of joy OR SO THEY SAY. It is the last time I will walk these halls of Canisius as a Student. I KNOW for sure if I ever come back it will not be the same. That is not a bad thing just a growing aspect to college. Last time I will see people that…. PLEASE CLICK HERE TO READ MORE…

I told my friend about it and she notices it too. We even noticed that people leave their change in the vending machines. This may seem silly to some people but think about it; change adds up faster than you think. My change dish is almost overflowing just because people are careless about their…CLICK HERE TO READ MORE…

Freshman are required to have the meal plan Griffin A, B or C. These meal plans offer a higher number of meals and “Griff Bucks”, which I am pretty sure is equivalent to the current “Bonus Bucks”. Freshman are required to have a higher number of meals, to assure they are able to get the proper amount of meals a week…CLICK HERE TO READ MORE…

I use to wonder why I started watching both sports and could enjoy both sports…..to be honest the overall make up of both sports are drastically different, or so I thought. I feel that even though both sports have their given stereotypes, about who excels at the sport, who plays and watches it. They are both very similar. Both are team sports; there is not an I in team, nor is it in… PLEASE CLICK HERE TO READ MORE…

But the fun has to end at some time.. and as you all know my life has changed a lot recently and thus the focus for my blog has changed. Needless to say I will no longer be blogging for Canisius in the up coming year. This beautiful weather makes me want summer so bad!! I have been thinking about what I do during the summer when we have beautiful weather all day. So I decided to share it with everyone what I love to do during the summer! First my favorite thing to do is tan. All of my friends know that if it is sunny out I will be laying outside! I love to just lie in the sun and relax! I also love to ride bikes and go swimming. Usually I don’t go swimming because I usually just lay next to the pool but sometimes… CLICK HERE TO READ MORE…

I can write for professional needs like it’s no ones business. I can think creatively, outside the box, rationally (on good days), I’m adaptive, I can count to one hundred (in spanish and french!), I know how to manage, delegate, manipulate, punctuate, interrogate, and paint a gate. If I ever wanted to teach English, Philosophy, Psychology, or History – I’m pretty sure I could do it… CLICK HERE TO READ MORE…

I am hoping that somehow I can get lucky and get a job with kids this summer. I think I would enjoy my summer so much more if I were to be interacting with kids rather than just standing at my cash register inside all day. It also is really hard when I am studying every day and night and I forget to look up jobs! My boyfriend is a junior here at Canisius and he already has two interviews and both of the jobs involve children! But I can only blame myself… CLICK HERE TO READ MORE…

Saturday, I volunteered for the Salvation Army all day and then raced home to get ready for Afro-BALL!! Afro Ball is a dance that is put on by the Afro-American Society at Canisius. It was held at this banquet hall in Amherst and was amazing. They provided transportation to and from the place in a huge limo and the food was great. It was such an awesome time spent dancing the night away with… CLICK HERE TO READ MORE…

If I harbor any ill feelings towards the people that ‘made’ me leave its because they weren’t thinking about the most important people in the situation, the people that they preach about helping, those most in need, those I was sent down here to help in the first place, the kids at St. Peter Claver. That lack of adequate… CLICK HERE TO READ MORE…
