The overflow of people, probably another 500 plus people headed over to the dining hall to watch the live feed of Temple’s speech. This is where my job came in, along with one other girl. We had to put out signs that directed people from Montante to the dining hall. But of course, living in Buffalo with the crazy weather and winds did not make our task any easier! All the signs fell down from the wind…CLICK HERE TO READ MORE…

Now that I am finishing my sophomore year I have all of these questions, like, do I have the right major, what job am I going to have, am I making the right decisions, and so on. The speakers had many books to read to get an idea, a grasp on the right attitude, and the confidence to do well in the “real world.” I think I am going to…CLICK HERE TO READ MORE…

At the last minute my mom and I decided to go to West Palm Beach, Florida to visit my grandparents. It was so relaxing and stress free just lying out in the sun all day. I really didn’t want to leave. But we did, and came back to nasty Rochester weather and then the next day I drove back to Buffalo… also not the greatest weather in the world…CLICK HERE TO READ MORE…

At that point I had chills just thinking about how right she was. She also talked about the classes we can choose and how credits work and so on. It was definitely informative and told me that I really need to get a move on with figuring out what classes I want to take and get them approved. So over spring break I’m going to…CLICK HERE TO READ MORE…

I was the first one to receive the acceptance letter and since all my roommates applied I told them to check their emails. First, Cece didn’t get it and I was in denial. There was no way she didn’t get accepted and it definitely was because my last name was higher up in the alphabet. And I was right!!! She got her letter and I went into Katie’s room, woke her up from her nap because clearly this was much more important. She got in too!! The only one left is Monica…CLICK HERE TO READ MORE…

She was also jumping around and dancing too, which made it ten times better. I have been to concerts at HSBC before but this was by far the best one yet. She is so talented and sings and plays the piano and the guitar. Plus her unique…CLICK HERE TO READ MORE…

No big deal, I’m just leaving the country for months! My roommates and I are so, so excited and a little nervous that it’s approaching so quickly, but we cannot complain at all. We figured out that we are living in Florence, Italy at Lorenzo de Medici, with no idea what to expect. The only thing we have going for us right now is the informative study abroad meetings and people’s stories of their own experiences…CLICK HERE TO READ MORE…

Last night was pretty hilarious sitting in front of the TV watching channel 4 news to see some school closings. Not too mention that I kept waking up in the middle of the night to look outside to see no snow. Yes, as we all know we were probably one of the only schools open to find out in the morning that it didn’t even really snow…CLICK HERE TO READ MORE…

First of all, the game was sold out! C Block was loud and so full of spirit, which is the best and really gets everyone at the game going and super excited. I came to the game a little late so of course the seats were filled! In the student section I had to sit in the aisle were people walk, so we were kind of in the way. Craziness! But seriously, it makes me so happy to see how many people are supporting…CLICK HERE TO READ MORE…

Father Bucki has been my new favorite priest ever since my freshman year because of his excitement, kindness, and his awesome homilies. His homily was especially helpful last night to my roommates and I, and probably many people at mass. He was talking about how God is always with us no matter what and there is always light that comes out of darkness. He explained how…CLICK HERE TO READ MORE…
