My first week as a newly christened New Yorker has almost come to an end. I can’t believe tomorrow is already Friday…this week has flown by. I love my internship. Everyone at my office has been incredibly helpful, accommodating, and nice. Moreover, the project I have been assigned to is relevant to what I’ll be studying in my grad school program, is intellectually fascinating, and will eventually help people.Read more …

Yesterday New York City welcomed me with a water salute. As I emerged from the subway station on the Upper East Side (UES) I suddenly realized that a downpour had overtaken the island. I didn’t care though. All I felt was happiness as I am now a full-fledged resident of the greatest city in the world. Read more …
