Paranoid
By Lyndsay | November 22, 2009
For the past three or four weeks I’ve been getting emails about making sure there aren’t any holds on my account so I could register for classes. I made sure everything was paid off so this past Saturday I could register without any problems.
The problem was that I was absolutely freaking out and paranoid about getting into the classes I wanted. Everyone who had registered before told me I would be fine, but said I should really make sure I wake up and do it right at 9 am. Two days before registration, I woke up in the middle of the night thinking I had to register for classes!! It was actually pretty funny how much I was bugging out about it, and how another one of my friends also woke up in a panic about it. So I wasn’t the only one nervous about my schedule. Before I registered I made one schedule I really wanted to sign up for, and then two backups. Planning ahead really helped me out.
9 am came, I typed in my pin number, and away I went. I typed in a few numbers and before I knew it, it was over. I had gotten into every one of the classes I wanted to be in, and I just said to my roommate, I freaked out for nothing!
I’m pretty excited for break and coming back to a new schedule; just another new, exciting experience at Canisius!
