Looking to the Future

Lately I’ve been thinking a LOT about my future and what I want/need to do. I feel really fortunate because of the opportunities I’ve had thus far at Canisius. The communication studies program is fantastic. One of my classes has been working together with another class all semester long, and that class is taught by WGRZ’s reporter Claudine Ewing. She has so much great insight and has even brought in one of her cameramen to give us advice for a successful future.
Last week, Claudine took us on a tour of Channel 2. It. Was. A-Mazing. I wanted to start working right then and there! We got to talk to Scott Levin, Mary Alice Demier, Ed Kilgore, and Kevin O’Connell- all either anchors or reporters from Channel 2. It was just awesome. Currently, I am trying to get an internship there, so cross your fingers!!!
Best part (well, that’s actually hard to say, but still this part was pretty cool) was that we got to take our picture on set in the news room studio!!! Check it out:
How do I look?? Time to start packin’ up for Thanksgiving break! Talk to you guys soon!
